I agree it is confusing and don’t profess to have looked at the detailed technology stacks. I think the key difference will be the size of the computing hardware that is considered the edge device. StarlingX appears to be targeting ‘data centers’ at the edge. EdgeX is more for IoT Gateway hardware.
